About the register

This site implements the register of Regulation (EU) No 236/2012 ("Short Selling Regulation / SSR") with regards to shares, sovereign bonds, and credit default swaps, for which The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway ("Finanstilsynet") is the Relevant Competent Authority ("RCA").

Public disclosure of significant net short positions in shares

The table below displays the sum of current open short positions that are larger or equal to 0,5%. Any short position that are below this threshold is not included in any of the numbers presented here. Positions are updated every business day at 15:30 CET

New login procedures from 22.01.2025, 16.00

As part of migrating our users to a new platform, a new login process will be implemented for all user accounts. The previous two-factor authentication using email and SMS will be changed to use only the registered email address. Due to this migration existing users will have to reset their credentials by selecting "forgot password" during the sign in flow. You will then receive a code sent to your email for verification before you can set a new password.

New exempted shares from March 1st, 2023

The following shares are exempted from SSR reporting as of March 1st, 2023: Frontline PLC (CY0200352116), Golden Ocean Group (BMG396372051), Seadrill Limited (BMG7997W1029), Clean Seas Seafood Limited (AU000000CSS3) and Salmones Camanchac (NO0012451915).
